ProData

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

ProData (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the BROPRO mobile application for broiler farm management, and companion apps Chick Counter and Organ Lesion Recognition. One ProData login can be used across these apps. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

By using BROPRO, Chick Counter, or Organ Lesion Recognition, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account & profile (shared login)

  • Name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create or sign in to a ProData account
  • Profile details related to your owner or staff account in BROPRO
  • Participant / staff codes and access permissions you configure in BROPRO
  • Optional sign-in in Chick Counter and Organ Lesion Recognition uses the same ProData account as BROPRO (for credits and account features). Guest use does not require an account

Farm & operational data (BROPRO)

  • Farm names, buildings, cycles, and production records (feeds, mortality, sales, harvest, costs, performance metrics)
  • Staff access settings, discussion messages, reports, and related farm content you enter

Location (BROPRO)

  • With your permission, approximate or precise location so you can pin a farm and preview humidity
  • You can deny location access; some location features will not work
  • Chick Counter and Organ Lesion Recognition do not use location

Photos, camera, media & files

  • BROPRO: images, videos, or files you choose to upload (e.g. supply alerts, farm media, discussion attachments, veterinarian reports)
  • Chick Counter: camera photos or pictures you pick of chick transport crates. An on-device model may check frame quality without uploading. When cloud counting runs, a resized photo is sent over HTTPS to Roboflow (Find-chick) so the app can tally chicks. Crate photos are not stored in your ProData farm account. Session totals stay on the device; signed-in credit counts are stored with your shared login
  • Organ Lesion Recognition: camera photos or pictures you pick of broiler organs (liver, intestine, gizzard, proventriculus). When you analyze an image, the photo is sent over HTTPS to Roboflow for lesion detection. If AI guidance runs, the photo and a text prompt are sent to Puter.js. Organ images from normal scans are not stored in your ProData farm account. Guest scan credits stay on the device; signed-in credit counts are stored with your shared login
  • Organ Lesion optional contribute: if you use the contribute flow, you may upload an organ photo, lesion label, description, and bounding box to a separate contribution storage project used to improve detection models. Contribute is voluntary

Device & notifications

  • Push notification tokens in BROPRO (to send farm alerts and reminders)
  • Device/app identifiers needed to deliver notifications and keep you signed in
  • Local app preferences stored on your device (e.g. notification settings, consent, guest credit usage, session)

Usage / technical data

  • Basic diagnostics needed to operate the service (e.g. authentication session, sync/errors related to your account)

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Create and manage your ProData account across BROPRO, Chick Counter, and Organ Lesion Recognition
  • Provide farm tracking, analytics, staff access, chat, alerts, and related BROPRO features
  • Count chicks in transport crates (on-device quality checks and optional cloud detection)
  • Screen broiler organ photos for lesion patterns and optional AI guidance text
  • Improve lesion-detection models when you voluntarily contribute annotated organ images
  • Apply scan/count credit quotas for signed-in and guest use where those features exist
  • Send push and in-app notifications you enable in BROPRO
  • When you allow it, generate GEL-AI replies, transcriptions, photo reading, and discussion summaries
  • Secure the service, prevent abuse, and fix issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Information

We may share data with:

  • Service providers that help us run the apps (e.g. hosting, authentication, database, file storage, push delivery, maps/weather when you use those BROPRO features)
  • OpenAI, L.L.C. and/or Groq, Inc., only after you allow GEL-AI in BROPRO. The app tells you what is sent before the first request: text you type, voice you submit, photos you attach, and the farm records needed to answer (farm and building names, cycles, daily production, costs, sales, harvest, and discussion text you ask to summarize). Our server receives that request and sends it to OpenAI and/or Groq to generate the reply. Your password is not included. We do not sell this data. If you do not allow it, the request is not sent. You can turn this off in BROPRO Settings → Privacy.
  • Roboflow, when Chick Counter cloud counting runs or when Organ Lesion Recognition analyzes an organ photo
  • Puter.js, when Organ Lesion Recognition AI guidance runs
  • Contribution storage providers, when you voluntarily submit an annotated organ image through Organ Lesion Recognition
  • People you invite to your farm in BROPRO (staff/participants) according to the access you grant
  • Authorities if required by law

Farm discussion and shared farm data are visible to users you authorize for that farm in BROPRO.

Chick Counter session totals and Organ Lesion scan results are not written into BROPRO daily farm logs automatically.

4. Data ownership and access rights

Farmer-captured images — photos and other pictures you take or pick in BROPRO, Chick Counter, or Organ Lesion Recognition — are owned by ProData (the operator). You grant us the rights needed to process those images for farm features, chick counting, organ screening, and (when you contribute) model improvement. We do not sell these photos.

Access to farm accounts follows the permissions you set in BROPRO: farm owners manage the account; staff and participants see only the farms, buildings, and tools granted to them.

5. Data Storage & Security

Account and farm data are stored using cloud providers (including authentication, database, and file storage used by ProData / BROPRO). Scan and count photos processed by Roboflow or Puter.js are handled by those providers to deliver the feature you requested; they are not kept as a farm-image database in your ProData account for normal scanning/counting.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure. Traffic uses HTTPS where the apps communicate with our services and detection providers.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account and farm data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you delete content or your account, we remove or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, security, or operational reasons.

On-device consent, guest credits, Chick Counter session history, and any local Organ Lesion training/contribute queue stay on the device until you clear app data or uninstall. Third-party processors may retain logs for a limited time under their own policies.

Voluntary Organ Lesion contributions may be retained for model improvement until you request deletion of associated contribution data, or as otherwise required for security or legal reasons.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You can:

  • Update profile and farm information in BROPRO
  • Control OS permissions (Location, Camera, Photos, Notifications) in device Settings
  • Allow or turn off GEL-AI sharing with OpenAI and Groq in BROPRO Settings → Privacy. While it is off, those requests are not sent
  • Use Chick Counter or Organ Lesion Recognition as a guest without creating an account
  • Sign out or request account deletion through in-app account/delete flows in BROPRO, Chick Counter, or Organ Lesion Recognition, or by contacting us. Web instructions: https://barprodata.netlify.app/delete-account
  • Important: deleting the shared ProData account removes the same login used across BROPRO, Chick Counter, and Organ Lesion Recognition

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data.

8. Children’s Privacy

BROPRO, Chick Counter, and Organ Lesion Recognition are intended for farm operators and staff. They are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Third-Party Services

Features such as maps, weather/humidity, authentication, storage, push notifications, GEL-AI (OpenAI and/or Groq, only after you allow it in the app), Chick Counter cloud detection (Roboflow), and Organ Lesion analysis (Roboflow and Puter.js) rely on third-party services. Their use of data is governed by their own policies, in addition to this one. OpenAI and Groq are used only to produce the GEL-AI response you requested.

10. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries where our providers operate. By using BROPRO, Chick Counter, or Organ Lesion Recognition, you understand your data may be transferred to those locations with appropriate safeguards where required.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of BROPRO, Chick Counter, or Organ Lesion Recognition after changes means you accept the updated policy.

12. Chick Counter companion app

Chick Counter helps farm staff count day-old chicks in transport crates (live camera, picture, or upload). It is a counting tool only. It is not a farm log and does not replace BROPRO production records.

Camera is used to photograph crates when you choose live or picture capture. Gallery uses the system photo picker; the app does not request access to all photos and does not use advertising ID or location.

On-device TFLite may run locally to assess the frame. Cloud counting sends a resized photo to Roboflow. Session totals stay on the device unless you sign in for credits.

13. Organ Lesion Recognition companion app

Organ Lesion Recognition is a screening aid for broiler chicken organs only. It is not a veterinary diagnosis, not a medical device, and not for human health. Confirm findings with a licensed veterinarian before medication, culling, or regulatory decisions.

Camera is used only when you tap Take picture. Gallery uses the system photo picker; the app does not request access to all photos and does not use advertising ID or location.

When you analyze an image, the photo is sent to Roboflow. If AI guidance runs, the photo is also sent to Puter.js. Signed-in email and scan-credit counts are stored with Supabase. Optional training may queue metadata on the device unless a training upload endpoint is configured. Optional contribute uploads annotated organ images you choose to submit for model improvement.
